Tom Clancy's The Division Survival DLC has long been in schedule. However, due to inevitable circumstances, Ubisoft opted to push it back. The studio had to do so in order to shift its focus and resources to fixing the game. And now, it seems an official release date has been finally unveiled -- thanks to Xbox One.
According to the official site of Microsoft's console, the aforementioned Tom Clancy's The Division DLC will be arriving come Nov. 22. This simply means that the content will be made available to Xbox One users. But not just that, the date also points to owners of Windows PC. It also notes that the content will be first available to the aforesaid platforms, suggesting that PlayStation 4's release will follow.
It's no secret already that Tom Clancy's The Division DLCs have been released to PS4 30 days after PC and Xbox One. So, in one way or another, the Survival expansion might arrive to Sony's console sometime in December. Nevertheless, there are still debates on whether or not the content will indeed be unleashed this year or next year.
Tom Clancy's The Division players need to consider, though, that the Xbox One site is totally legit. So, in a sense, it's true. After all, it's not a fan site or whatsoever. Add to that the fact that Tuesdays (Nov. 22 is on a Tuesday anyway) are usually Ubisoft's go-to release day for major updates and/or patches.
It's also worth noting that players on Xbox One and PC will be receiving the upcoming Tom Clancy's The Division DLC and patch 1.5 simultaneously. And based on the aforementioned interval, PS4 owners might acquire the DLC just days before Christmas hits. It's a drag, but it's still good than nothing.
As previously reported here at iTech Post, the said Tom Clancy's The Division content will bring players a new kind of experience. It's a mission that'll require a total of 24 players, each of which will be starting weak and hungry. And in order to survive, they must make their way to the center of the map, the Dark Zone. The quest is limited to 2 hours only.
