'Pokemon Sun And Moon' News & Spoilers: Opening Theme Features Pikachu's Voice; Ash Ketchum’s Alola Region Starter Pokemon Is Not Litten

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" is going to be another exciting installment as Ash Ketchum and his friends invade Alola region. The first two episodes of the new "Pokemon" anime is set to air on TV Tokyo on Thursday, Nov. 17. The opening theme "Alola!" will feature Ash and Pikachu's voice and there will be a lot of new characters and Pokemon in the anime intro.

"Pokemon Sun And Moon" Spoilers

Ash's Pokemon adventures in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" which is set in Alola Region is yet to air but there are already spoilers for the upcoming episodes. Ash (Satoshi) and his friends make school more exciting in Alola Region by meeting new people and Pokemon. Both the anime and the game franchise for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will feature the Z-moves during battles.

There have been a lot of speculations regarding Ash's starter Pokemon in the anime and the newest spoilers shed some light on this debate. Reports reveal that episode 4 of the anime is entitled "Enter Rowlet! I Got a Pokemon in Alola!!" Prior to this rumor, many speculated that Ash's starter Pokemon will be Litten since there are numerous trailers featuring the Pokemon that looked a lot like the regular kitten.

Rowlet is an avian and a grass type Pokemon that looks similar to an owl. This is also one of the three starter Pokemon in Alola region, the two being Litten and Popplio. Rowlet evolves into Dartrix and ultimately to Decidueye.

"Pokemon Sun And Moon" Opening And Ending Themes

Based on the latest news on "Pokemon Sun and Moon," Rica Matsumoto, the voice behind the main character Ash, will sing the opening theme. Ikue Ohtani who is the voice behind Pikachu will join her in the song. Meanwhile, the closing theme for the anime entitled "Pose" is performed by Taiiku Okazaki.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" anime will air the first two episodes on Thursday, Nov. 17.
