Final Fantasy XV might be the biggest game title to arrive this year and for several months passed, Square Enix and game creator Hajime Tabata never failed to bring hype to the fans prior to the title's release by the end of the month. Recently, Ray Chase, voice actor of the game title's protagonist Noctis, said that the ending of the upcoming JRPG game will be different compared to previous Final Fantasy games.
According to the report from Game Rant, Final Fantasy XV somewhat separates itself from its predecessors. As seen on the environment of the game, it seems like there are lots of elements that are new to the eyes of long-time fans of the series. As a result, it thrills the fans on how will it turn out. Apparently, the willingness of Square Enix to embrace innovation and making some tweaks on the storied franchise did all the trick.
Meanwhile, as seen on the Omen trailer of the upcoming title, it certainly indicates that the game would direct itself into embracing darker undertones than fans would have seen in previous game installments. In addition, Chase mentions death in the series giving players some hints on a possibility of unexpected events to happen on the actual game such as the famous death of Aeris back in Final Fantasy 7.
Chase also stated that fans would see Noctis "in all sorts of scenario - from deepest despair to happy-go-lucky." That means this year's game title from the franchise offers variation regarding the character building moments which the series needed in recent years. It would be interesting to see how Noctis stacks himself to other iconic heroes of the franchise. However, his gigantic weapons and often gloomy behavior should strike similarities with fan favorites Squall and Cloud.
Overall, it is not an easy task to obtain the ending of Final Fantasy XV just to prove its difference from the others, since the upcoming title is set to have 50-100 hours of playtime depending on how active the gamers pursue the side contents.
