Just few weeks ago, the highly anticipated update 1.4 was released to Tom Clancy's The Division. It was meant to bring the game back to its former glory, as bugs and issues were exploiting the title. And now, Ubisoft is set to release another one called update 1.5. And what makes it really interesting? The once-cancelled DLC titled Survival will be also be arriving. Here's everything you need to know about it as well as the forthcoming content.
Tom Clancy's The Division Update 1.5
As of this writing, the studio has yet to reveal the official patch notes for Tom Clancy's The Division update 1.5. However, as reported by TrueAchievements, these should be unveiled come Monday, November 21. Nevertheless, various reports online were able to acquire the possible details the update will offer.
First off, the aforementioned Tom Clancy's The Division update won't have the same amount of changes or features as compared to update 1.4. Nonetheless, it's expected to introduce a couple of tweaks to weapons, gears and skills, among others. The main purpose of the update is deemed to bring balance and stability to the things the current update brought.
A Brand New Tom Clancy's The Division World Tier
World Tiers in Tom Clancy's The Division were the main gist of update 1.4. And surprisingly, more of it will be coming via the next update. This will be called World Tier 5, though it isn't meant to increase the current maximum gear scores and enemy levels in the game. Players, though, will be offered with new sets of items as well as gears and weapons. But since no official patch notes have been released, one can't simply give out the specifics.
The brand new Tom Clancy's The Division World Tier will feature enemies who're at level 34. The gear score, on the other hand, is maxed at 256 (already covers both the weapons and gears). It's worth noting that in update 1.4, the gear scores were reduced from 268 to 229. There's no viable reason as to why the increase was made, but it seems to be taken out from feedbacks acquired straight from the community.
Tom Clancy's The Division Survival DLC
New gear pieces are expected to arrive to Tom Clancy's The Division via the Survival DLC, which will arrive alongside the aforesaid update. In total, there'll be six of these -- with each one having individual talents unique to each other. Ferro's oxygen mask, for example, will let players move and shoot normally despite being under the effect of burning. These pieces are said to be available in the DLC's caches as well as the Field Proficiency's. However, more of these items can be acquired in specific places.
Players of Tom Clancy's The Division will also be introduced to new sets of weapons -- a total of 12 types and 4 weapons newly named. Unfortunately, the specifics of these are yet to be unveiled, too. Massive, nonetheless, gave out a preview to the brand new Pistols.
