‘The Young & The Restless’ Spoilers, Cast Rumors: Tristan Rogers Is Back; Soap Plans To Bring Back Adam Newman For Sharam Plotline?

"The Young and the Restless" fans were highly disappointed when the new head writer Sally Sussman revealed in an interview that she is not too interested in bringing Adam Newman back to life. However, there are too many loose plotlines that could only be resolved if Adam is back in Genoa City. Based on the current developments in the show, Y&R is veering towards a reunion between Sharon (Sharon Case) and Adam.

"The Young and the Restless" Spoilers

"The Young and The Restless" would not be the same without Adam. He is a central character in the soap and his permanent disappearance will leave too many loose ends. While the show can shelve Christian's true paternity storyline for now and leave everyone in the dark about Chloe's true nature, it would be hard to move on with the story without resolving these. With fans clamoring for a satisfying conclusion for these arcs, Adam needs to be back in Genoa City.

Since Adam has been presumed dead and there is no DNA evidence that he was in the burning cabin, it would not be hard to bring him back. Sharon will be in a vulnerable situation with the revelation about Sully and the subsequent divorce with Dylan. This will be a great opportunity to bring back Adam and rekindle their romance. After all, Sharon will need someone to help through a rough time which is the perfect moment for the revival of the Sharam romance.

Loyal soap followers speculate that Adam will be back in less than a year. To add fuel to the fire, Case commented on a Facebook Live chat that Sharon will end up with Adam. Since cast members have more insight than fans, there is certainly hope that Adam will be resurrected. Given Justin Hartley's career jump to primetime, it is safe to bet that he will not be back on the daytime soap which resurrects hopes of Michael Muhney's return.

Who Is Back In Genoa City?

Based on the latest reports, Tristan Rogers -- who plays the role of Colin Atkinson, Cane's father -- will be back in "The Young and the Restless" for four episodes. The plotline involving him is still unknown although he has been maintaining a quiet life the last time he was shown in Y&R. He has been looking out for Lily and the twins.

Aside from Rogers, Dax Randall is also making his way back to Genoa City and will be featured on "The Young and the Restless" episode airing on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
