NBA Trade Rumors: Carmelo, Paul George Involved In A Blockbuster Deal, DeMarcus Cousins Looks To Reunite With Isaiah Thomas

Most of the teams have played more than ten games already, and we are pretty sure that all the players have moved on with regards to gameplay in their corresponding teams.

However, most of the teams are still struggling as shown on their record. There are a lot of reasons why some teams don't live up even to their own expectations. First, teams who are plagued with injuries has no choice but to play with the roster that they already have. Some teams are actually good on paper but once they are on the court, they falter. Second, team chemistry. How many times have you heard a commentator states that team chemistry is everything. Super teams usually fail due to superstars not sharing the spotlight to their teammates. With that said, let's go ahead and check some names that are on the trading block.

Franchise Players, Carmelo Anthony And Paul George Involve In A Blockbuster Deal

Arguably two of the most versatile and explosive(offense) players we have right now. Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks and Paul George of the Indiana Pacers are involved in a massive 3 team, blockbuster trade. When I first heard and read the news, I find it as a joke. But, by checking the details of the proposed trade, it convinced me more that this is actually possible. Now, who are involve in these massive trade.

Former Scoring Champion, Carmelo Anthony

The ultra talented power forward from Maryland is again involved in trade talks. Carmelo Anthony is a special player. He is a four time Olympic Gold Medalist, former scoring champion and multiple All Star throughout his career. The only thing missing right now from him is a ring. Now, let us go back with the trade talks. Apparently, if the three teams involved agree, we might see Carmelo in a Pacers uniform. The proposal is very simple, send Carmelo to Indiana in exchange with Jae Crowder, Avery Bradley and two future first round draft picks.

Paul George And The Indiana Pacers

We thought that Paul George's career was over when he had one of the most gruesome injury in basketball history. However, he did prove us wrong when he came back stronger than ever. He was considered in the MVP discussion for this year but their record says otherwise. Indiana is below .500 right now in the latest NBA standings. They were projected as one of the contenders for the Eastern Conference but 15 games has passed and we don't see that happening. Paul George went off in an interview last week stating "the team has no chemistry, each player wants to play for stats and for themselves". He already sit out for two games due to an undisclosed injury.

The Boston Celtics Is Going All In

Again, if the trade will materialize, Boston Celtics will be the biggest winner. Here are the two scenarios that will make their team even stronger. With the arrival of Paul George from Indiana Pacers, they have to unload two of their starters namely Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley. Their first five will eventually consist of Isaiah Thomas(PG), Terry Rozier Or Marcus Smart on Shooting Guard, Paul George(SF), Amir Johnson(PF) and Al Horford(center). Basing on the numbers, not only Paul George will provide a boost on the offensive end but on the defensive side as well.

The second scenario is, Boogie DeMarcus Cousins, looks to reunite with his former teammate, Isaiah Thomas. The first time All Star said in his social media account that if Boogie wants to be part of the historic Boston Celtics, he will accept him with open arms. However, this scenario is somehow impossible due to variety of reasons. Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley is not enough for the Kings to let go DeMarcus. No disrespect for the two players as they are great playing their role, but DeMarcus Cousins is a franchise player.
