The latest Clash Royale leak is hinting that it may follow the footsteps of Clash of Clans next month. The King's Tower is getting reskinned to sport the color red to support a cause. This is in commemoration to Worlds AIDS Day on Dec. 1, which has the branding (RED).
The blue side will still have the color scheme blue, but some red drapes are going to be added. To further signify the Clash Royale's support for the cause, the crown on the tower will have the "( )" marks around it.
According to iDigitalTimes, this has been going on for the past years in its sister title from Supercell, Clash of Clans. In the original game, players can buy (RED) bundles, the proceeds of which will be donated to charity. Those whose who purchase gets a red flag. It is assumed that Clash Royale will follow the same recipe using gems or gold.
Other than being able to support a cause, players are highly unlikely to get another advantage of having their Clash Royale towers red-washed. It is also unknown if it how long the event will last.
Supercell has yet to make an official announcement. Considering that Dec. 1 is only a week from now, an update from the developer is bound to come soon. Per reports, the event started on Nov. 30 and lasted until Dec. 8. This year's is expected to happen around that time also.
Meanwhile, Clash Royale just got updated with the new card Epic Tornado Spell. Players are still learning how to utilize this new offering, but it is more helpful to get some tips from others on the internet to learn the ins and outs.
Clash Royale has quickly become one of the best mobile games out there. Clash of Clans is still competing at the top spot with Pokemon GO, but Supercell clearly knows their game.
