Buick News And Updates: New Trims Are Coming With The 2017 Envision

Buick lovers have already gotten a surprise when the 2016 Buick Envision made its way to the U.S market from the Continental region. They may be in for another one as new trims are coming with the 2017 Envision. However, there is a little bit of a catch as the arrival will be basically the same as it did on the previous model.

The 2017 Buick Envision Powertrain

According to report from OPP Trends, the 2017 Buick Envision will come with a couple of powertrains. First is the 2.5-liter Inline-4 that is capable of putting-out 197 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque which will be the standard in the base trim. The other is a 2.0-liter Inline-4 turbocharged powerplant that shoots up to 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and available in a front wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) options.

New Trims And Features

Along with the new trims, Buick 2017 Envision also boasts of new features. The trim starts with the base, followed by Preferred, Essence, Premium I and Premium II as reported by Left Lane News. Accordingly, the 2017 Buick Envision will also have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for its infotainment. It has a sound system with auxiliary audio input, satellite radio and Bluetooth phone streaming capabilities. Rearview camera with auto-dim, dual-zone automatic climate control and tilt-telescoping steering wheel are standard in the base trim. As the buyer goes up to higher trims, the features they get also become better.

Price And Availability

The base trim, Preferred, Essence, Premium I and Premium II are tagged with prices of $34,990, $36,795, $38, 645, $43,245 and $45,885 respectively as reported. Accordingly, the Buick 2017 Envision and its new trims are expected to be displayed in showrooms and dealerships across the country in the weeks to come.

Worth It?

Most buyers will ask if it is worth it. With the new trims and feature that come with them, the answer is most definitely yes. The reasonable prices just make the deal sweeter.
