What does it take to add more in patience and excitement?
While integrity plays a crucial role in every show, the element of surprise should no be taken away. The existence of tv programs is always filled with controversies especially those that are highly anticipated by millions of viewers. They cannot get away with the beauty and ugly grinds of the rumor mill.
The season 3 release of Adult Swims’ “Rick and Morty” has stirred disappointment and confusion to its huge fan base. Instead of delivering a joyous season on the upcoming holidays, the audience might need to tuck themselves in the waiting zone until an official air date is confirmed by the showrunners.
‘Rick and Morty’s’ Third Installment To Air In March 2017?
2016 is nearing its end. In a supposed exciting entrance of December, the strong followers of the famous comedy sitcom are likely to see a delayed launch of the crazy adventures of Rick and Morty and the rest of the hilarious crew.
Next month should have been the grand premiere of “Rick and Morty” season 3 as promised by series creator Dan Harmon. However, recent news revealed that a March 2017 release date is more feasible to happen. Adding to the dismay is that the show’s forthcoming chapter will only include 3 episodes. Should this come to fruition, a big dismay can only be expected.
Series’ Censored Scenes Cause Production Delay?
The storyline of “Rick and Morty’s” past episodes is hard at controversy. While the hit series did not fail to entertain its viewers, its content has been the subject of numerous rumors especially that the release of the new season seems to be delayed.
A source cited that Justin Roiland and Harmon, the genius minds behind the popular black comedy, divulged minor changes on the program per Broadcast Standards and Practices’ requirements. The modifications include “changing the color of the brain from pink to green to mask the realness of the matter.”
Another issue blamed for the delayed premiere is the censorship brought by the show which is feared to deeply affect the sensitive, young viewers. A particular episode described by Roiland as “the most difficult one to produce” shows a sex robot that Rick bought for Morty. Roiland seems not affected with the criticisms, though. His perspective on the matter? “I think that’s just our country. It’s just the way things are. It’s stupid,” Roiland said.
The alleged delay of “Rick and Morty” season 3 has been strengthened by many reasons. One factor that led to the press and fans’ assumptions are the statements of the series’ design assistant. PopDavid noted that the information regarding the schedule of “Rick and Morty” season 3 is misleading and not true.
“Dan and the writers keep putting out info that’s not entirely accurate.”
How true is this allegation?
