"The Flash" season 3, episode 8 has been an explosive one. So far, the crossover between the four superhero shows in The CW has been a huge success. Alien invasion aside, there were serious issues that were raised during the eighth episode and it could alter Barry's (Grant Gustin) fate.

"The Flash" Season 3 has been focusing on how Barry tried to change the past. Now, all the things he did will come to light. The future Barry will find his way to the current timeline to deliver a cryptic message. Barry's allies from "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow" will find out about all the tinkering he did that changed their future, and Barry needs to own up to his actions. After realizing what Barry did, trusting him as their leader will not be an easy task.

"The Flash" season 3, episode 9 will put Barry in a more difficult position. Christmas will not be a peaceful affair for him. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) will spend the first Christmas without his brother which would bring back painful memories. Barry will not have a joyous holiday either.
With Savitar and Alchemy still on the loose, he will not be able to pay attention to Iris (Candice Patton). Barry may be in a happy relationship with Iris but his present actions might make things different in the future. One of the things that he could have messed up with all that timeline tinkering is a happy ending with his longtime love.
Despite these possibilities, he focuses on the present threat. On this episode of "The Flash" season 3, Barry will make his way to Earth 3 to ask for Jay Garrick's (John Wesley Shipp) advice. Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) who is also a speedster wants to help Barry. Wally trained under H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) and Barry is not too happy to learn about Wally's education.
