"Rick and Morty" fans have seen the best and the worst of the show since the first season. Now that it's embarking on a new chapter, a lot of good stuff is shining on the horizon. Despite delay rumors of season 3 premiere, many fans have remained positive that Adult Swim is brewing the best for the sci-fi adult comedy series. Here's why "Rick and Morty" season 3, episode 1 will become the best episode of the series so far.
The Best Episode In History
"Rick and Morty" season 3 could be the most anticipated TV series this year following over 12 months of hiatus before the new season airs. While Adult Swim hasn't been clear with its premiere date, there were already spoilers and plot details coming out. First, the set is flying to Hawaii. Second, Vin Diesel could possibly join the voice cast. Third, Mr. Meeseeks has been teased to make a comeback. Of all the other spoilers, Rick's escape from the Galactic Federation facility could be the season opener which is expected to become the show's finest episode.
Rick's Escape From Galactic Federation Facility
A good amount of spoilers have already been revealed but the most intriguing storyline by far is about Rick's escape from the Galactic Federation facility where he had been stuck after turning himself in. This possible plot opener is making fans curious as to how the genius grandfather will manage to make his way out. Of course, there's a way out for a virtuoso like him. If Rick won't escape, he could be granted remission or temporary release from jail.
When Rick turned himself in to authorities, he pretended as Jerry and bargained that they protect the Smiths back on earth. Early spoilers have revealed already that his grandson/protégé will be the key to his escape from maximum security imprisonment.
What Justin Roiland Sees
Back in August, co-creator Justin Roiland retweeted a fan theory courtesy of a comic artist Giahna Pantano. Her speculation read: "The last episode of RAM spoke about unconditional love. Even in a show where the vastness of the universe is explored we learn that discrimination and ignorance is not just a human trait but a universal one. But we also learn that hope, tolerance and compassion is a universal trait as well. Even for a guy like Rick fear can be overwhelming, but the key is not to let it consume you completely. It cannot contain you. Nor can an intergalactic prison. You must rise above. Even in what seems to be the loneliest of times, you must and will rise above." This could well be a good interpretation of how "Rick and Morty" season 3 would open.
"Rick and Morty" season 3 is expected to air in March 2017.
