Most Anticipated Games This December

The last month of 2016 is set to bring new and (hopefully) awesome titles. To celebrate the gift-giving season, here's a list of what gaming community are most excited for. Maybe even get an idea here on what to give your gamer loved one!

Dead Rising 4

We terribly missed him, but Frank's now back in Dead Rising 4. Don't worry as all the wacky weapons (and Frank's personality) are coming back with few more additions. There are even wacky suits to go along with the dumbness of the whole game. Dead Rising 4 definitely tops this list as there's nothing better than playing a fun, exciting and stupid game. Xbox One and PC owners, watch out on Dec. 6.

The Last Guardian

The Last Guardian had us waiting for YEARS. Fortunately for Sony, though, we are quite patient. At first look, it's gearing up to be one of the best games in history. Launching on Dec. 7 exclusively for PlayStation 4, we will finally see if all the wait is worth it. The director even went to post a handwritten letter that says we absolutely shouldn't miss its ending, which I'm sure has just invited many others to get on the hype train.

Super Mario Run

Not only the consoles get the fun this month. Android and iOS users also have the Super Mario Run hype train, and it's running really fast. Our childhood is finally coming to mobile phones with improved graphics. The gameplay, which can be seen below the article, is looking pretty good; plus we can even create our own kingdom and play against another player! It's dropping on Dec. 15 on iPhone and iPad. Android, unfortunately, gets to receive it at a later date.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier

Telltale Games' The Walking Dead Season 3 is now set to be released on Dec. 20 after a supposedly November launch. We will get to see Clementine once again on a new adventure following the events of the previous season. We will also get to meet the new character Javier, but it is unknown how he will contribute to the experience. It will be available to almost all current platforms: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, macOS, Android and iOS.

BONUS: Super Mario Maker

On Dec. 3, we will get to see the release of Super Mario Maker on the 3DS. It has been available on the Wii U for quite some time now, so it will be interesting how it will fare on the portable console. If you haven't tried it yet, it unleashes your creative side by using the available tools to create a course. It is definitely a must-try for the holiday season.

There are more games releasing this month, capping off a great year for the gaming community. Each month offered big AAA titles, which is making me pretty excited for the year ahead. But let's focus on December first. How about you? Which one will you most likely purchase?
