Miley Cyrus and fiancé Liam Hemsworth were initially reported to be getting married last summer. Apparently, the wedding plans of the celebrity couple got canceled which then sparked speculations that they are not planning to get married anymore. However, recent reports clarified the issue saying that the wedding is still on but might not happen anytime soon.
The statement of Miley's little sister Noah Cyrus about the "Wrecking Ball" singer's wedding might have been misunderstood by most fans.
"There's not any planning [going on] right now," Noah recently said in her interview with Life & Style. Most followers of the couple took it as a sign that the two are not planning to be wed, when the 16-year-old songstress is only hinting at some delays.
Noah even commended her future brother-in-law saying, "I love Liam...He's been in the family for a really long time, so he's like a big brother to me." When asked about how she sees her sister on her wedding day, she commented, "Pretty chill, I'm sure."
Following the speculations, a source from Miley's side then stepped forward to negate the reports and confirmed that the wedding is still very much on the way.
"The wedding isn't off, Miley just wants to keep it totally under wraps," the source insisted. "She's usually really open but this is one thing she's being secretive about, she doesn't want any of the details getting out," the insider added.
The "Follow Me" hitmaker is said to be deeply in love with her fiancé but the two are reportedly taking things slow. It can be remembered that the couple first got engaged in 2012. However, they had a brief split in 2013 but got back together in late 2015.
Miley then started sporting her engagement ring again earlier this year which fueled wedding rumors. The couple, however, has kept mum about their plans. Still their posts on their social media accounts confirm that their relationship is running smoothly and that they are more serious with each other than they were during the first time that they got engaged.
