First few minutes in the first match of the Spring Inter-High and Karasuno is already in a pinch in "Haikyuu!!" chapter 234. It turns out, the Nationals court is very different from the courts they have played during the qualifiers and as first timers, it would be difficult to adjust their spatial awareness to the court which is definitely larger than any courts they have played before.
It didn't look serious when Kageyama's first serve went outside in "Haikyuu!!" chapter 233, but then he messed up his toss to Hinata. As sensei said, he is the person most affected by this spatial awareness thing because his tosses are all about accuracy. Now the game score is 0-3.
Still, it doesn't look like Karasuno will lose this game. Kageyama is confident he can soon adjust to this and as previously reported, it is his first official match as the revived King of the court. It is more worrisome that Hinata wasn't able to warm up properly because he lost his shoes in "Haikyuu" chapter 232.
However, it wouldn't be that easy of a match. Karasuno hasn't been in the nationals for five years while it appears it is the second consecutive time for Tsubakihara. While it looks like they had a devastating match during their first Nationals last year, their starting line-up is composed of second years and third years --meaning, all of them have an experience in the Nationals stage.
Tanaka's mirror image, Echigo, is definitely the intelligent type, he knew how to relieve his teammates' nervousness right away. Another challenge is the tall middle blocker Teradomari, who spiked above Karasuno's blocks -- Tsukishima has found an interesting match, they are even both 190 cm in height. As they adjust to the court, Karasuno will definitely lose more points or maybe even lose the first set but when they get on steam, there's no stopping their outrageous attacks that Tsubakihara might wish they are facing Shiratorizawa instead.
"Haikyuu" chapter 234 will be released next week.
