'Dragon Ball Super' Spoilers, Predictions: New Arc Starting With Episode 72 Features Legendary Super Saiyan Broly?

"Dragon Ball Super" is about to launch its new arc and at the moment, there are already details about the upcoming arc that will follow episode 71. The upcoming Jump Anime Festa will share more details about the new episodes but one of the most popular speculations is that the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly will be in it.

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 72

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 72 might be the start of a new arc and there are numerous speculations on how the anime will progress. One of the most popular predictions is that there will be another tournament. For now, however, this has not been confirmed by official sources.

"Dragon Ball Super" is scheduled to air episode 69 on Dec. 4 and the titles for episode 70 and 71 were already released. The upcoming episodes will feature Goku's adventures while facing fighters from Universe 6.

"Dragon Ball Super" New Characters

After the end with Future Trunk's fight against Zamasu and Goku Black, there are rumors that the new arc will have more characters. Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan who was the supervillain in three "Dragon Ball Z" movies, is rumored to be included in the new arc. However, this rumor is unlikely, at least for now.

It should be noted that Broly is not one of Akira Toriyama's characters. As noted by one "Dragon Ball" fan, Toriyama made the art design for Broly but the creator of the character is actually Takao Koyama, the man behind all the "Dragon Ball Z" movies. Broly may be in all the "Dragon Ball" games by Bandai Namco but there has been no announcement yet that he will be in "Dragon Ball Super."

Since there is no mention of Broly on Toei's website and he is not an original character by Toriyama, his return to "Dragon Ball Super" seems unlikely. Until there is an official announcement or promotional material that Broly will be featured in "Dragon Ball Super," his ultimate comeback should be taken for what it is - merely a rumor.
