After the successful launching of Pokemon Go's first ever major event last Halloween and a follow-up event for Thankgiving, fans were expecting that Niantic will somehow be hosting another seasonal event which is said to arrive this month. The potential arrival of Pokemon Go Christmas Event has been mostly anticipated by several fans since it was heavily rumored to bring numerous bonuses.
Currently, there are rumors surfacing in the internet regarding the possible bonuses that the upcoming event will offer. These rumors mention that the future event for Pokemon Go will be offering unique Pokemo spawns based on the song 12 days of Christmas.
According to the report from The BitBag, several Pokemon Go players are actively engaging in bringing up some suggestions for the forthcoming Christmas Event. One of these suggestions is the 12 days of Pokemon where there will be unique spawns of Pokemon daily. As seen on the post, a day-to-day breakdown of possible spawns was revealed.
If you are familiar with the song 12 days of Christmas, you won't have a problem relating to this. Starting on the 1st day, Pidgey spawns will drastically increase. 2nd day says two turtle doves which means Squirtle spawns will increase. 3rd day, Mr. Mime will spawn in all regions. 4th day mentions about calling birds. It's expected that Pidgey, Spearow, Doduo family spawns will increase and Farfetch'd will be available to all regions.
5th day will grant players a daily type of XP/Item Bonus for spinning the first five PokeStops. 6th day highlights all eggs distances will be reduced to 25 percent. 7th day is expected to have an increase spawn of Lapras. 8th day will make Tauros available to all regions. 9th day will have an increased spawn of Jynx. 10th day will make Kangaskhan available to all regions. 11th day would decrease the Incense and Lures to half-price and the last day which talks about the 12 drummers drumming translates into an increase spawn of Cubone, Marowak, Kadabra and Alakazam.
Apparently, if the Christmas Event will happen, this is still an exciting addition which makes players look forward to log in and check the app everyday in order not to miss a single bonus. However, Pokemon Go players will have to wait for Niantic's official statement as of now.
