"Transformers: The Last Knight," the fifth installment in the sci-fi action film franchise that made a hit in the last decade, is now building up its hype. The film's director, Michael Bay recently announced that they had just finished its filming process and a trailer is on the way.

As the director's last film for the movie franchise, Bay made sure that viewers look out for it. In his recent tweet, he shared a video of a sneak peek at behind-the-scenes of the movie production. The clip that lasted for a minute and 15 seconds showcased a series of photos and video snippets that were taken during the entire filming course.

Bay is directing the film based on a screenplay written by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and Ken Nolan. As for its casting, the reboot "Transformers: Age of Extinction" in 2014 introduced a change in the characters, with Mark Wahlberg taking the lead role. In this latest installment, "Transformers: The Last Knight" some characters from the first three films are set to make a comeback.

As per reports, actors Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturo are to return and join Wahlberg in the upcoming "Transformers" film. A new addition will be Anthony Hopkins, though this is not something new as he is experienced in creating epic films, too.

Avid fans are in for a surprise when "Transformers: The Knight" hits theaters in June 2017. Even if this is Bay's last directed installment, Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks still have something in store for "Transformers" fans. A Bumblebee spin-off is bound to be released in 2018 and a sixth film for 2019.
