The Meizu M5 Note has just been launched today in China and was well received by fans and critics. Here are the things you need to know about the device:
Price
The Meizu M5 Note has 3 models and is priced differently. For the 16 GB and 3 GB RAM model, its tag price is 899 Yuan ($131). For the 32 GB and 3 GB RAM model, the price is 999 Yuan ($145). And lastly, the 64 GB and 4GB RAM model are priced at 1,499 Yuan ($218).
Design
The Meizu M5 Note comes in 153.6 x 75.8 x 8.15mm dimensions and weighs 175 g. Its design is super thin and elegant. Its color casing designs are available in the colors: silver champagne gold, blue, and gray.
Though it houses a larger battery, it is confirmed to be 0.1mm thinner compared to its predecessor. Also, it has the signature mBack fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button that is said to be able to unlock the phone is just 0.2 seconds.
Display
Its screen is a 5.5 inch LTPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1000: 1 contrast ratio. Its display is bright and colorful. About its display resolution, it is 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Platform
The Meizu M5 Note runs on Android Marshmallow with Flyme OS 6.0 on top. It is equipped with the Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset. Its CPU is Octa-core (4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.0 GHz Cortex-A53). Its GPU is Mali-T860MP2.
Camera
The Meizu M5 Note has great cameras, but compared to the phones currently available in the tech market, its cameras are not that of a head turner. Its front camera is 5 MP, f/2.0. The back camera is 13 MP, f/2.2, phase detection autofocus, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. It's video, it is 1080p@30fps. Camera features are geo-tagging, touch focus, and face detection.
Internal Memory
The Meizu M5 Note has 3 options to offer: 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. For its 16 GB inbuilt storage, it features 3 GB RAM. For its 32 GB inbuilt storage, it features 3 GB RAM. For its 64 GB inbuilt storage, it features 4 GB RAM. Regarding about its card slot, it can be further expanded to 128 GB with MicroSD.
Battery
The company claims that the 4000 mAh battery of the Meizu M5 Note has a fast-charging feature that can charge the device from zero percent to 100 percent in 90 minutes only. About its other performance, specifically, its talk time, standby time and music play are unknown. Perhaps maybe a few days later, there will be information about it.
Sound
The Meizu M5 Note has a loud speaker and a 3.5 mm jack. It also has alert types, Vibration; MP3 and WAV ringtones. Regarding its sound quality performance, there is no information about it yet.
Features
For its sensory features, the device has a fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. For its messaging, it has SMS, MMS, Emai, Push Mail, and IM. For its browsing, it features HTML5. Other features are MP3/WAV/eAAC+/FLAC player, MP4/H.264 player, document editor, and photo/video editor.

To be honest, I think the Meizu M5 Note is a great phone to have. The prices are very affordable and its specs and features are great. Well, this is my opinion.
