Just as her “Outlander” co-star recently did, Caitriona Balfe takes her turn in giving away big reveals of the drama’s latest installment.
“We’ve shot a little out of order, so Sam and I have shot one episode together. So [this week] Jamie and Claire will be together from now on. So Sam and I will be on set together as we go forward,” Balfe revealed in an interview.
Thanks to the generosity of the stunning model/actress in sharing such great scoop to the followers of the popular Starz’s series. Fans are sealed with overwhelming excitement now that Sam and Claire’s highly-anticipated reunion is already in the works.
Balfe also discussed the major changes in the early stage of “Outlander” season 3 as the soap is set to highlight 20 years of Claire’s life that includes her unique challenges as a woman and her classic 40’s-60’s looks.
In a different interview, Sam Heughan, revealed the long-kept secrets of the forthcoming season. Describing his crucial role, the actor said:
“In book three, Jamie is many characters. He's at least three, maybe four different things to people. He has different names, and basically he doesn't want to be Jamie Fraser. He wants to die at the end of season two, and he goes into battle thinking he will. To live is not part of the plan, and certainly, without Claire, it's even more so not what he was expecting. He has to learn to fight again and find purpose in his life. Aging became not about giving him a walking stick and gray hair. It became more about the experiences that he's lived, and how that changes him. I think he is, at times, unrecognizable. Sometimes we see the Jamie we know, but it will be a journey for him to get back to being James Fraser.”
It looks like the big audience of the hit show is up for a grand treat when “Outlander” season 3 makes its way again in the big screens next year (hopefully). The leaked spoilers straight from the main characters are too thrilling to be missed.
Behind the grand production and the glamor in filming the latest episodes, the on-set photos of the cast and crew that made the rounds online can really tell the difficulties they had to endure to provide a world class entertainment to their fans.
“So you’re shooting five days on, two days off, six days on, then one day off, and then back into it. And we were outside for most of it. It was cold. It was wet. I was wearing barely anything. But because you don’t know what the next week is going to be looking like, you just keep going, and it was fun and it was exciting, so that definitely carried me through those times,”Balfe noted.
What else can you ask for when the lovely “Outlander” couple already fed your curiosity on the third season of your favorite series? No more Droughtlander then.
