Pokemon GO Gen 2 Update: Genders, Move Sets Included In Pokemon GO APK 0.49.1?

The Pokemon GO Gen 2 update is rumored to be also included in the Pokemon GO APK 0.49.1. Data miners manage to uncover some interesting details about the new batch of upcoming Pokemon.

Pokemon GO APK 0.49.1 Update

The Pokemon GO Gen 2 is rumored to be released once the Pokemon GO APK 0.49.1 is rolled out by mobile game developer Niantic. Data miners were able to cover some codes regarding Genders and all the Pokemon will be divided into Male and Female, according to the Silphroad.

Shiny Pokemon Coming

The Pokemon GO Gen 2 update will be accompanied by the rare but highly desirable Shiny Pokemon. They are basically the same creatures but sport a shiny exterior. Data miners have yet to uncover a user interface (UI) code for them apart from the sound data.

Customized Avatars and Pokemon Costumes

Pokemon GO players will soon be able to further customize their avatars. Trainers can the change their hair, eyes, hat, shirt, pants, shoes and backpack. However, customization may require players to buy the customized items since code such as New, Sale, Purchasable and Unlockable are attached to it.

The Pokemon Gen 2 update will also enable trainers to "dress up" their creatures. The costumes features may come out during the holidays based on the code uncovered by the data miners. The different costumes may be triggered by some collision detection in the game.

No New Moves and Pokemon Sprite

The data miners did not uncover any new moves for the Pokemon GO Gen 2 update. It is presumed that Niantic may add or update new move sets later or its already part of the 137 current moves. Niantic is well aware that data miners are examining the game's code. In a pre-empt move, the developer has now remove the presence of Pokemon Sprites in the game's code. From now on the Pokemon will come from the server side as 3D models. The Pokemon GO APK 0.49.1 is expected to come out on December 12, 2016.
