The Fortune Teller tells you which shop you can get rarer items and teaches you tons of phrases that you can use in the Festival Plaza. They'll give you more FC and you need to horde more of them. If you score a "very good" fortune, it will earn you four times as much FC for Battle Spots, Wonder Trades, etc.

The Dye Shops give you a white clothing which you can dye to a certain color. You can get any of these at any level. Five stars means you can get better effects including pastel, dark and bright. Varied color tents are available and dying will earn you 10 to 100 FC. At the rank five Dye Shop, you can get dark, pastel and even bright colors.

It takes a high level Festival Plaza if you want to get five or four star buildings. It fools Sophocles into handing to you the shop you like. Remember to earn enough FC to level up, wait for the confetti and refrain from getting into the castle. Farm more FC to level up more and proceed to the GTS or Wonder Trade. Save game, quit Festival Plaza and go offline.
Go back to the game and get inside the castle. Interact with Sophocles who'll give you a new facility. Next to the table right in front of you, talk to the person there who'll give you bonus for the trade. This levels up your Festival Plaza and earns you another facility. Remember that this only works for levels 2 to 8 or past 100.
