While most of us are looking toward tomorrow's Samsung Galaxy S4 launch event in Times Square, the Apple Conspiracy is looking even further into the future, releasing a stunning concept image of the Galaxy S6.
Rather than delving into specs, the concept suggests the Apple Conspiracy's desire is for Samsung to move forward with true innovation, dazzling consumers.
"The linear 'progression' of technology in terms of bumping up specs and distancing phones from humanly measures makes the design process very unnatural and ultimately boring," the team says. "Thus we have made a turnaround, and replaced designation IV to VI, in hope that humane design will once again be a part of mobile phone industry."
The team at the Apple Conspiracy didn't ditch the plastic casing, opting for a beautiful plastic unibody with hyperskin, a protective nano coating. The concept features a smaller 4.5-inch S-OLED screen with brilliant 2k display. It also has a GravityUX and Android 6.0. The camera is 18MP with 4k high frame rate video recording. Probably the most enticing feature is a battery that can be charged once and last for one week with heavy usage.
Though many of these technologies have not yet been implemented, the Apple Conspiracy felt the need to include them in order to demonstrate real innovation.
"It includes technologies we have yet to implement," the team says, "but it's our way of giving justice to the so-much-used word 'innovation' without just being a marketing term. In our opinion, only in next couple of years we could have some real progress in this matter. But new models have to be launched in ever shorter time intervals, and justify their 'innovation' by masking the real problems."
The Apple Conspiracy previously released a sleek titanium Nokia FX800 render, which reportedly even got the attention of some employees at Nokia.
What do you think of the Galaxy S6 concept? Do you think it departs from or builds upon Samsung's design trend?
