Second Half Of "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 To Feature An Entirely New Plot
The "Once Upon a Time" season six recently had their winter season finale during the season's 10th episode. Now, that the trailer of the upcoming episode to air next year has already been released, there have been many talks and speculations on its upcoming storyline. It has been revealed during the previous episode that the mysterious figure on a black hood that is always in Emma's vision was Gideon, son of Belle and Rumple. Now, it has been speculated that the upcoming second half of the season will be an entirely new plot.
Gideon has appeared to have gained the dark power somehow, and is out to kill Emma. This was confirmed when in the preview of the next episode, Belle was asked by David if her son has come back to kill Emma, to which she agreed to. Thus, Emma's fate will now be in the hands of time, as no one knows how her predicted sword fight between her and Gideon will come about. That is then the speculated storyline to the second part of the season that is set to air next year.

One of the noticeable changes in the run of "Once Upon a Time" is its downgrading ratings. It has been called to the network's attention that the ratings of the series has seriously decreased compared to its previous seasons. This has yet been the lowest average views they've had in the past six years, thus prompting them to have an entirely new plot of the series. It has also been speculated that actress Jennifer Morrison who plays Emma will be leaving the show due to low ratings. Either that or the show is to be cancelled entirely after the run of its sixth season.
