Samsung launched its Galaxy S4 smartphone and now rumors are starting about what can be expected on the Galaxy Note 3. It's likely that some of the features available on the Galaxy S4 will be incorporated into the Note 3.
Samsung always seeks to make its followup devices better than the previous version. If we compare the Galaxy S3 to the Galaxy S4, we see improvements were made in the hardware and software.
The announcement of the Galaxy S4 places emphasis on making tasks easier. Samsung is dedicated to providing consumers with a product that caters to the users' needs, and the release of the Galaxy S4 is a result of the company's commitment to its mission, the company says.
"We have taken technology and innovation further to help us get closer to what matters in life. To help us live a richer, simpler and more full life. We will imagine the possibilities, explore new directions and listen to you to understand what a smartphone should provide to us in our lives," said Samsung CEO J.K. Shin during his keynote at the Galaxy 4 unveiling.
One of the most innovative features on the Galaxy 4 that we are likely to see on the Note 3 as well is the S-translator. This is a helpful feature for users who travel and may not speak the language of the country they are visiting. With the S-translator, users can translate languages by typing directly into the phone. The text-to-voice feature repeats the transcription out loud and also supports speech to text. S-translator can translate up to nine languages, including Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish.
The Galaxy Note 3 is likely to incorporate the new advanced camera features announced in the Galaxy S4. This includes the dual camera, sound and shoot, drama shot and eraser. The dual camera allows users to be in a photo and not only take it, but add sound to it and take multiple exposure photos for a dramatic touch. The eraser feature lets users erase the background of a photo, which comes in handy when people walk into the shot when you're trying to take a picture.
Air gesture may also be worked into the Galaxy Note 3 specifications. With air gesture, users can control their phone without touching it. A wave of the hand lets the users read emails or scroll through their photo galleries without lifting a finger.
Some rumors about the Galaxy Note 3 so far have alleged a 6.3-inch screen size, a 16-MP camera, a 4,000 mAh battery, Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, the infamous Exynos 5 Octa 8-core processor and a possible summer release date.
