The New Game Plus mode on Dishonored 2 is here. This mode lets players open a second campaign without having to leave powers and upgrades from the first campaign. However, the New Game Plus mode still have undisclosed secrets that many players haven't know yet. Here are things that players must know before playing the New Game Plus mode on Dishonored 2.
Fact #1: Unspent Runes, Bonecharms, Whalebones And Coins
For the unspent runes, bonecharms, whalebones and coins, they cannot be carried over to the New Game Plus mode on Dishonored 2. Players should invest in the bonecharm crafting perk later in the game and upgrade it to craft runes. Before finishing the game off, break down every bonecharm and make use of the whalebones on crafting runes. The trick here is just to spend away everything.
Fact #2: Traits From Bonecharms
Take note however that it takes nine runes to get the rune crafting perk. Additionally, it also costs nine whalebones per rune so that's a lot. In case players don't have enough runes to do that by the end of the game, don't fret though and read on.
Second fact that Dishonored 2 players have to know pertains to the traits players get from breaking down every bonecharm in the inventory. Even if the bonecharms themselves cannot be carried over to the New Game Plus mode, the traits players earned through this will still be used in the mode. Once players have enough whalebone, they can still craft new bonecharms just as good as the old ones.
Fact #3: Emily And Corvo's Unique Skills
For a subsequent playthrough, players can access both Emily and Corvo's respective special skills. Once players have reached chapter two, they'll be able to re-spec all powers apart from carrying blueprints from the Black Market over to the New Game Plus mode. This means that even if player is using Corvo, he/she'll be able to access Emily's powers and vice versa. This can happen without the need to switch characters.
Dishonored 2 is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
