Pokemon Sun And Moon Guide: How To Get All Rare Fishing Pokemon

For those who are not yet updated on how to get all the rare Fishing Pokemon’s, now is your lucky day. We’ve seen multiple guides before on how to capture a specific Pokemon but right now we are going to discuss them all.

Location! Location! Location!

In order for you to catch these rare fishing Pokemon, you should know their precise location. Planning is a must before trying to get these unusual characters. Yes, you can reset your hunt if you fail to capture the desired Pokemon but it will eat up a lot of time. We are going to discuss multiple fishing Pokemon's and their whereabouts. Let us start with probably the easiest fishing Pokemon to catch.

Mareanie

Probably the hardest and one of the rarest Pokemon in Sun and Moon. Trying to catch Mareanie is like catching a ghost. For you to be able to catch Mareanie, you need to catch different rare Pokemon first. Mareanie rarely appears and when it does, it would be during S.O.S battle with none other that Corsola. Why Corsola? It is a great hiding place for Mareanie.

Dhelmise

Before you capture Dhelimise, you have to check the map first and go directly to Poni Island. Once you're on Poni island, go to the fishing town and on the first boat, there’s a spot there where you can get Dhelmise. There’s at least 10%- 20% to catch this water type Pokemon. Usually, you’ll get the Pokemon after three encounters. If you do want to reset your fishing spot, you just need to go closer to the door and the fishing spot will be refresh.

Relicanth

As the name implies, this Pokemon species lived for a hundred millions of years. Some gamers want this Pokemon on their list, some of them don’t want it as they consider him useless. For those who wants it, here’s where you can find them. Poni Island, just near the seashore, you will see a cave-like structure and there’s 20% chance you will get Relicanth.

Sharpedo

In my opinion, this Pokemon character is not that rare at all. But for the sake of gamers who wants to catch Sharpedo, here’s what you have to do. You have to get out of the fishing town and fly yourself to Poni Breaker Coast. Once you are there, you have to go up to the ruins of hope and you will see two small posts and a body of water on the side. It is where you can get Sharpedo and chances are, you’ll get the character after 14 tries.

Dratini

Another Pokemon that I don’t want to include on my list. Too annoying to catch and not really a fan of this Pokemon. You have to go to Poni plains and travel to Poni meadow. Just walk up right and you’ll see a small pond where you should be able to catch Dratini. If you fail to catch Dratini and you want to reset, you need to go back to the entrance of Poni meadow.
