God Of War 4 Update: Director Boasts The Whole Game Can Now Be Played From Start To Finish In Sony’s Game Development Headquarters

Recent statements made by director Cory Barlog seem to indicate that God of War 4 is nearing its launch date. In a Twitter post, he revealed that the game can now be played from start to finish. Apparently, he has done exactly that at the game development facilities at Sony Santa Monica.

Fans Are Worried That The Game Is Still In Its Early Stages

If this is true, this will be welcome news to the God of War 4 fans. They haven't heard much of what development has been done to the game since the developer showed a preview of it in E3 2016. This led some to suspect that the game is still in its early stages of development. But with this recent reveal, it appears that the game will see the light after all.

Barlog clearly indicated in his Twitter post that he has completed his first playthrough of God of War 4. However, the game developer stated that he will not release a demo version of the game before it will be launched. The fans were naturally disappointed because they will not be able to feel the game before its release.

Demo Version Will Affect Game Development Time

His reason for not releasing a demo version is that it will also take them time to produce it. Apparently, this will further delay their developmental work on God of War 4. If that happens, the actual game launch will also be done later instead of sooner. And that would not sit well with the fans who seem to be getting impatient.

To assure fans that the game launch is getting near, Barlog stated that when the trailer of God of War 4 hits 15 million views, "something special" will happen. A report indicated that the trailer has already hit more than 14 million views. If the goal is reached, Barlog has no other recourse but to fulfill his promise. Below is the trailer of the video game for fans who love to play it.
