PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will accommodate Resident Evil 7 with resolution and frame rate parity. Masachika Kawata, game producer of Resident Evil 7 have made mention about this in a recent interview made by Gamingbolt. Kawata made the confirmation that Resident Evil 7 will have a resolution of 1080p at 60 frames per second on both PS4 and Xbox One.
He further said that this horror game will be having support for HDR on PS4, Xbox One S, and PS4 Pro. Kawata also gave his views about the recent release of PS4 Pro and the upcoming Microsoft Xbox Scorpio. The producer said that there should be an agreed perspective among its publishers, consumers, and manufacturers so that their endeavor will be successful.
Kawata mentioned that the new hardware's biggest takeaway is about making sure that everyone will be excited about the new product, since this will give the game a chance to expand within the game industry as well as into its user base. Otherwise, it will only cost a lot of extra effort on their side.
