Battlefield 1 has a ton of guns which may get plays confused. Even if the game's weaponries are divided into four classes, the guns still are a lot to take in. In this guide, you will know which guns are the best in each class on Battlefield 1.
Battlefield 1 Medic - Mondragon Marksman Or Selbstlader M1916
Knowing that combat isn't the strongest suit for the Medic class, soldiers need a weapon that will help them get away with ugly situations. The default rifle is good, but it's not enough to carry you through battles. What you need as a Medic is the Selbstlader M1916 which can shoot targets as fast and as precise as possible. If you happen to be on battlegrounds with snipers, the Mondragon Marksman is the good way to go. Its bipod and scope will enormously help you protect yourself and your team from sniping enemies. Not to mention, you can use its blade against close range opponents.
Battlefield 1 Assault - MP 18 Trench Or M97 Trench Backbored
Shotguns are best used by Assault with its ability to fire down a troop of enemies in close range. What this class needs is a shotgun that is designed to be used for its great accuracy. First that comes to mind is the M97 Trench Backbored. If you want to wield an automatic gun, the MP 18 Trench is a good choice. Close range encounters, shooting from the hip-all these can be made easy with this gun.
Battlefield 1 Scout - Gewehr 98 Or Russian 1895
Reloading the sniper rifle in between shots is the biggest downside of the Scout class. Despite the weapon's commendable range, its rate of fire loses all its advantage. Instead, the Russian 895 is a good alternative which is quick enough to keep up with your pace. On the other hand, if you are less concerned with the reloading speed and you are running after great accuracy and range, the Gewehr 98 is your best option.
Battlefield 1 Support - BAR M1918 Or M1909 Benet Mercie
The default weapon for the Support class is good enough in terms of range, rate of fire and use. If you want an upgrade, better choose the M1909 Benet Mercie for more accuracy and better rate of fire. If taking down as many enemies as possible is your concern, the BAR M1918 is a good way to go. It has a wider scope, a longer range and a stand for stable handling.
