Super Mario Run Is Giving Away Free Gifts; Did You Get It?

Nintendo is making good numbers with the release of their first mobile app game, Super Mario Run. To celebrate reaching about 50 million in downloads, the gaming giant has decided to give a gift to all of its users.

According to Gamespot, Nintendo has decided to give every player ten rally tickets for the Toad Rally mode of the game. The announcement was made back in Dec. 23 when the developers confirmed that they have reached the 50 million download milestone.

The message is as follows: "Celebrating 50 Million Downloads! To thank all our downloaders, we are giving everyone 10 Rally Tickets. We hope everyone will enjoy the fun of Toad Rally."

To those who have not played the game yet, Super Mario Run comes with an alternative game mode called Toad Rally that lets players compete with others online. It is said that players need the tickets in order to participate in the Rally, since it is the only way to get back to the game after finishing the World Tour.

Hopefully, the free tickets can also get more people playing the game because, though Super Mario Run has amassed a huge amount of downloads, reports are saying that it's losing a bit of its steam. It seems that users are not getting as hooked as Nintendo hoped.

It is said that this was because of the hefty price tag on the game, which is at $9.99. Though the game is free to download, players will have to pay the amount in order to experience the "full" game. Some suggest that Nintendo will be able to keep more people playing the game if they lowered the price of Super Mario Run.

Some speculate that if the game sold for less - say, $1.99 - Nintendo would have made $20.76 million. Hopefully, the company will be able to find a solution to their problem soon.

Super Mario Run is now available for iOS, but it's said that the game may make its way to Android devices sometime next year.
