Here are 5 games that you shouldn't miss in 2017. Take note that while some of them are exclusive to specific platforms (as of the time of this writing), there are rumors that some of them may be changed prior to launch.
Resident Evil 7 (PC, PS4, Xbox One)
As far as the demos are concern, it's safe to say that the upcoming first-person survival horror game is one of the scariest titles for 2017. The seventh installment of the Resident Evil franchise is the first of its kind to offer first-person perspective - which is the course of action that Capcom has taken after a flop from the previous Resident Evil 4. What's more, the game will support VR feature which is now the growing trend following the release of PSVR.
Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4, Xbox One)
The developers of the worldwide blockbuster hit, GTA V sets to release yet another major title in Autumn of this year. There are numerous theories about the upcoming plot of the series and one of the popular ones is that it would be a prequel to original Red Dead Redemption storyline. But as always, Rockstar Games has been fairly reticent in offering hints about the development of the game aside from the official release that we covered here.
Mass Effect: Andromeda (PC, PS4, Xbox One)
The upcoming iteration of Mass Effect will take players into a couple of centuries after the events following the original trilogy. Moreover, the setting will take place in an entirely new galaxy - offering whole new visuals and surreal experience. It's definitely a game you shouldn't miss! Update: Mass Effect: Andromeda sets to be released on March 21, 2017.
Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4)
This game will take players in an interesting new world where robot dinosaurs roamed the planet. Players set on a journey to find out the origins of these creatures and why they are hostile to mankind. The best thing about this game is its numerous quests and survival methods which includes hunting and gathering food. You'd also learn how to utilize gathered materials and convert them into equipment.
For Honor (PC, PS4, Xbox One)
For Honor is one of the upcoming major titles of Ubisoft for this year. The game offers an entirely new experience for players that love traditional combat. In this game, you'd find yourself in a world constantly ravaged by war by three parties, Knights, Samurai and Vikings. The game utilizes a unique combat system that according to the developers, follow the traditional "art of war."
