We all might know by now that the Dragon event on Clash of Clans is arriving on Saturday, Jan. 7, a couple of days when the Clashmas event ends. Supercell didn't publicly make an announcement regarding the upcoming event but it's definitely a huge treat to begin 2017 right. However, no further details have been outlined in the game's events tab other than it is an upcoming event. Clashmas hasn't been wrapped up yet but we have now something to look forward to. Here's what we can expect from the Dragon event on Clash of Clans.
Clash Of Clans Dragon Event Date
Beginning with the obvious, Supercell is expected to release an update on Clash of Clans Saturday, Jan. 7 to pave way for the Dragon event's launch. Just like in previous events, the update will come in stages which might begin in North America. There hasn't been any information as to when the event will last but it will most likely range from three to seven days.
Clash Of Clans Dragon Event Mechanics
This is the first time that Supercell holds such an event so there are no hints as to what will happen during the event. The least players can do right now is just to wait for it to unfold and see what the event has in store for all of us. However, there are rumors available that since Dragon at the core of this event, it could well be safe to assume that great discounts for training them will be provided, just like the Hog Rider event. It costs 25,000 Elixir to produce one Dragon so if speculations hold true, Supercell might give a huge cutback on that. Baby Dragons are most likely included in the discount.
Other rumors pertaining to the Dragon event suggest that players have to conquer a string of challenges in both multiplayer and single player modes involving the use of Dragons. This should earn them gems and XP as rewards. Looking back at the Hog Rider event, this upcoming challenge might include a similar theme as well wherein players have to win three multiplayer battles with at least 10 Hog Riders in your army.
Clash Of Clans Dragon Event Tips
In the meantime, we don't exactly know yet what Supercell has been working on in terms of the mechanics. The best thing we can do for now is to store a ton of Elixir as much as possible in preparation for the game. Apparently, this is a Dragon event so basically we need to expend a whopping amount of Elixir. If Supercell doesn't give discounts, we would be ready anytime. Guard your village from attacks though so you don't lose them from looters.
As for the time being, take advantage of the Clashmas specials, Santa's Surprise, Freeze Trap and Ice Wizard, because they'll be gone soon.
