Final Fantasy 15 is rumored to add the likes of Noctis and Minwu to Dissidia Final Fantasy arcade in the near feature. It is expected that Square Enix would announce the chosen character on Jan. 10, 2017. In addition, the mobile game Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius is slated to open the new year with the dangerous woman--pop-star Ariana Grande.
Fans' Response to Noctis May Prod Developers to Make Him Represent The Game
Previously, the developers of the Dissidia Final Fantasy arcade have noted that if Final Fantasy 15 caught on, then Noctis may make it into the full game representing Final Fantasy 15. Rumors have been circulating on which character should best represent Final Fantasy 15. While the response of the fan community may encourage Square Enix to add him to the arcade game, there are several other rumors that Final Fantasy II's Minwu would grace the arcade game instead.
Note that Square Enix has previously added characters from the Final Fantasy I to XIV. Moreover, the developers have already revealed Tactics and Type-0 to Dissidia. Apparently, a Final Fantasy 15 representative is yet to be seen. Moreover, a proper villain accompaniment like a hero is also expected to be introduced to the game.
Ariana Grande Comes to Final Fantasy
In other news, Ariana Grande reportedly agreed to be a playable character in the mobile game Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius. The game reportedly features two knights who summon visions that may help in combat. Interestingly, the game is also free to play.
The Final Fantasy mobile entry reportedly packs a great soundtrack and old-school turn-based combat with decent retro graphics as well as a plethora of quests. The pop-star's character, DW or Dangerous Woman may be modeled after her album cover as well. It is expected that new players would be joining the Final Fantasy mobile craze with Ariana Grande's arrival.
