Until now, Niantic has not yet released an official statement regarding the introduction of Legendary Pokemon in their augmented reality game, Pokemon Go. Aside from the previous announcement of a future Legendary Event, there are no further details supporting the claim. Meanwhile, fans of the game are curious if how Niantic will add these mythical creatures to the game. In addition, they are also wondering if how frequent will each of these Pokemon spawn once they arrive.
According to the report from Otakukart, unlike other Pokemon games which grant you a Mewtwo by completing the storyline, Pokemon Go does not work that way since the game does not hold any plot. However, it should be interesting enough how these Legendary Pokemon work. One possible theory is by way of trainer level. For instance, if a trainer reached level 35 then he/she should encounter at least one of those three Legendary Birds in the wild. Perhaps, by reaching level 38 or 40, the trainer should encounter both Mew and Mewtwo.
By these notion, it will make up for the fact that the post level 30 rewards are not that motivating. On the other hand, players will have a reason to grind until the level cap. However, it will cause every player to own a Legendary Pokemon which is a bit unreal.
Meanwhile, another possibility would be through a special event which will reward players a legendary Pokemon. However, Niantic should make these events available to all areas for the fans to have a chance to participate.
Overall, these mythical creatures do not share the same treatment with ordinary types of Pokemon. That means they should have their own way of introduction. With endless of possibilities regarding the arrival of these Pokemon, the answer lies to Niantic's decision and hopefully they can pull it off. Pokemon Go is available on both Android and iOS devices.
