The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch Release To Make Console Game Lineup More Successful?

The Legend of Zelda developer have reportedly confirmed the release of the new Zelda game on the Nintendo Switch console. Along with the other Nintendo hit titles like Pokemon Stars, it is expected that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild open world would complete the solid game lineup of the upcoming console. More Zelda gameplay and storyline details have reportedly been revealed as well.

The Legend of Zelda Developers Ready With Zelda Last Year, Game Refinements for 2017 Release Included

Last year, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild developers reportedly revealed that the game was all set. Apparently, the game still needed to be polished in 2016 as the official release date of the new Zelda game may be expected in March of this year. It has been revealed that the translation of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild reportedly delayed the release as the game is expected to be launched in different languages.

Latest reports claim that Nintendo Japan already affirms that the Nintendo Switch should have a strong lineup in 2017. Hence, the developers are reportedly noting that the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the console would prove to be essential. Note however that the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may be limited to North America and Japan. Fans in Europe are expected to get the game later in the year.

Open World Zelda Game To Launch On The Wii U?

Meanwhile, Nintendo is rumored to launch The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Wii U as well. However, this may be contrary to the rumors spreading that Nintendo has already ceased production of the Wii U consoles. It has further been revealed that the game would no longer sport the linear action-adventure gameplay the previous Zelda titles had.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild players are expected to complete the dungeons in any order players opt for. It is also expected that the new game would roll out with the most versatile version of Link.
