Why The 'PlayStation 4 Pro' 4K Display Is So Hyped Up?

Probably the most highlighted feature of Sony's latest console system, the PlayStation 4 Pro, is its capability of rendering 4K resolution with compatible video game titles. It has been one of the most mentioned features on the PS4 Pro that many experts are labeling it to be a little be too over hyped.

Enabling 4K on the PS4 Pro

In order to make your purchase worth it, owners of the PlayStation 4 Pro must have a 4K compatible display device like a 4K TV with a Premium HDMI cable in order to get the dynamic 4K resolution, the official website of PlayStation explained. They also required enabling the 4K feature on both the PS4 Pro system and the 4K compatible display device before booting it up.

Other devices that will stand in between the display and the console are also required to get this feature enabled in the settings.

How to have the highest possible 4K resolution

On the 4K display device, you need to first open the display settings menu and locate the resolution settings to enable 4K. Repeat these steps for other devices that will is going to be attached to the display and the console system

For the PlayStation 4 Pro console system, it should automatically enable the 4K setting if it successfully detects a 4K-compatible device connected to it. To ensure that it has the highest possible resolution enabled, go to the home screen and to the settings menu, then sound and screen menu item, and lastly the video output settings.

As per older reports, PlayStation 4 Pro owners have already been warned that they should purchase only 4K TVs that are compatible with the console. For those who already purchased a 4K TV that is currently incompatible with the PS4 Pro, they will have to do nothing but wait for Sony to develop a patch in order to make it compatible with the 4K resolution feature to be enabled.
