Some people may be excited for the lineup of games that Sony has for the Playstation 4, but it looks like the company may have had a slip of the tongue when it announced the games that were coming in 2017. It turns out that some other games included in the roster haven't even been confirmed for the year, and the video has now been changed to be titled "Coming to PlayStation in 2017 & Beyond."
According to Gaming Bolt, Sony had now released a whole new video after the apparent mix-up, and it also made clear as to what are PS4 exclusives and PS4 Console exclusives. It didn't make any changes to the games included for the year either, opting to just change the title to "2017 & Beyond;" some of the games in the video that had not been confirmed for 2017 are Detroit: Become Human and Dreams from Media Molecule.
When the video first came out, some people were confused because of the inclusion of some games that had not been confirmed for the year. Shuhei Yoshida, the president of SIE for Sony Worldwide Studios had pointed out that this was a simple mistake from Playstation EU, and the video has now been changed to address it.
Though Detroit: Become Human hasn't been confirmed for 2017, that doesn't necessarily mean that it won't come out this year. As of now, it only stands that the game does not have an official release date, and it's totally up to Sony on whether it will have the game release this year or maybe earlier in the next. Regardless, a lot of fans are still looking forward to big titles like Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last of Us Part II, and God of War 4, not to mention MSG creator Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding.
