Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Release Date, Specs, Colors Revealed This Week, Two Models On The Way?

Last week, Samsung confirmed that it was working on the rumored Galaxy S4 Mini, but it looks like we won't have to wait much longer before the company officially unveils it to the world. Samsung is expected to reveal the Galaxy S4 Mini this week, as it prepares for a launch at the end of May or beginning of June.

Apparently, the abundance of leaks has had quite an effect on Samsung, which doesn't see the point in holding off the Galaxy S4 Mini reveal any longer, when images and specs are everywhere on the Internet.

The rumor comes courtesy of Sammobile, which cites "insiders" as its source of information. The Galaxy S4 Mini will launch in two colors: Black Mist and White Frost, just like the Galaxy S4 itself.

As we reported last week, the Galaxy S4 Mini is rumored to feature a 4.3-inch 256ppi (pixels per inch), 540 x 960 Super AMOLED display. It supposedly will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and will pack 1GB of RAM. Three storage options will be available — 8GB, 16GB and 32GB, with a microSD card slot for up to 32GB of extra storage.

According to Sammobile, there will be two different models of Samsung's new phone: "The Galaxy S4 mini will have a 4.3" qHD display a 8 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, AGPS, Android 4.2.2 and is based on Samsung's own Touch Wiz Nature UX. The Galaxy S4 mini with single simcard is expected to have a quad-core processor, where the Galaxy S4 mini DUOS is expected to have a dual-core processor. The codename of the Galaxy S4 mini is GT-I9190, duos version is GT-I9192."

Nothing's official, but if Sammobile is right, expect to hear a lot about the Galaxy S4 Mini this week.
