Bandai Namco had hit a homerun last year when they released Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and it looks like future owners of the Nintendo Switch will also be able to enjoy the game as well. Bandai Entertainment America Inc. has just confirmed that Dragon Ball will be coming to Nintendo's latest console.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 On The Switch
According to Siliconera, Dragonball is not the only Bandai title coming to the Switch either. Other titles from the studio that have also been confirmed for the Switch are Taiko Drum Master as well as the Tales of series. What's odd is, the statement that was released says that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was a "working title." This could mean that the studio is planning to release the game, but it could be under a different title for the Switch.
The press release also said that Xenoverse 2 on the Switch will also allow local co-op gameplay. That means that players will be able to share their adventures in the game with their friends online, being able to build up their own gang of unique Z warriors.
What Is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2?
When it was first released, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 got a lot of good reviews from the fans. Though the game was not so well received by newcomers to the franchise, seasoned Dragon Ball Xenoverse players saw it as a huge improvement to the game.
In Xenoverse 2, players were able to design their own characters and they were made to join Time Patrol. The main job of the organization is to ensure the preservation of the "Dragon Ball Z" timeline, so players are put right in the middle of all the biggest moments in the series, ensuring that they all turn out the way it did in the main story.
So far, no official release date has been announced for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on the Nintendo Switch, but it is possible that the game could come out sometime this year.
