Since the revelation of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite at the PlayStation Experience 2016, fans of this long-running fighting game franchise were indeed excited about the information that came along with its announcement. However, the developer has not yet provided a specific date of its launching; although it might come any time in 2017.
In spite this, Capcom has already made a decision about giving its fans opportunities to indulge themselves for the upcoming sequel as it becomes available in retailers. They released new details about the upcoming versions of the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
As per one post in Capcom's blog, there is a third entry in the fighting game series that is intended to be launched on March 7 for Xbox One and PC platforms. The two versions will be made available in a digital format for $25, and will have the same price just like its PS4 version that was released last Dec. 2016. In addition, the developer has already made an announcement about the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. It will be receiving physical editions for the Xbox One and PS4 during the same date. These will be released via GameStop for a price of $30 and will be limited editions with an updated cover art.
The Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 limited edition that will be available in GameStop will also be including a 10-page comic book which will be telling the story about two colliding universes which will highlight a few of Marvel's and Capcom's most iconic characters. Marvel artists Sean Chen and Gerardo Sandoval have contributed some illustrations and artwork for the story to have an enhanced feel of a true trade issue comic book, according to Game Rant. Those who are interested in the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3's physical limited edition, they can already pre-order a copy via GameStop for US fans and via EB Games in Canada.
