Dark Souls 3 Second DLC Full Details Arriving Next Week

After Dark Souls 3's first DLC entitled Ashes of Ariandel was released last year, it seems like the said game title's second expansion pack has finally confirmed a release date. Apparently, several YouTubers recently teased about playing the upcoming second DLC of Dark Souls 3 which is expected to arrive next week.

According to the report from The BitBag, YouTubers MrIwont4get and FightinCowboy confirmed heading for an event where they will play Dark Souls 3 DLC 2. These statements have been verified through their official Twitter accounts.

Based on the two YouTuber's released statements, it seems like Bandai Namco and Frost Software might be inviting people to test the upcoming DLC again. As previously reported, Bandai Namco invited several Dark Souls 3 players before they released the Ashes of Ariandel DLC. Perhaps, there are many YouTubers that have been invited to the event this time to test out this upcoming DLC.

The report mentions that these YouTubers might host some video footage, details regarding the contents or even its release date. However, it is also possible that they are under some Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) which restricts them to reveal any information they know.

Previously, game director Hidetaka Miyazaki has revealed that Dark Souls 3 will only receive two DLCs. Meanwhile, the Dark Souls 3 DLC 2 is confirmed to arrive in early 2017. As of this writing, there are no further announcements made regarding the second DLC's name and contents. On the other hand, this invitation of several YouTubers might be a sign that new details will be revealed soon.

Apparently, Dark Souls 3 leaks have revealed the map name of the second DLC. Some fans also discovered a file name DLC 2 Miyako no Mouja which is expected to be the name of a future map. The Japanese phrase Miyako no Mouja means City of the Dead or Dead Capital. Some fans projected that the next map might be set in Londor, which is frequently referenced in Dark Souls 3.
