HTC has cut prices for the HTC One X and HTC One X+ in India.
The HTC One X 16GB version has been cut from RS. 32,000 to Rs. 25,990. The HTC One X+ 64GB version has been cut from Rs. 38,550 to Rs. 29,500.
The HTC One X was unveiled at the 2012 Mobile World Congress and was released in India in March. The phone includes a 1.5GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and 4.7-inch (720p) display. Other features include an eight-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera and an 1850mAh battery. The device was launched with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but later got an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.
The HTC One X+ followed the HTC One X. It includes a 4.7-inch display, 1.7GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 AP37 processor and 64GB of internal storage. Also included is a 2,100 mAh battery, eight-megapixel rear camera and 1.6-megapixel front camera. The device comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The price cuts are not surprising, given HTC's announcement of the new HTC One in India. The new HTC One will cost Rs. 42,900 and be available at the end of April. The HTC One includes a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB of RAM along with a 4.7-inch screen with 1080p display. Also included is an UltraPixel back camera, 2.1-megapixel front camera and 2,300mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
For those not looking to splurge on the new HTC one, the price-reduced HTC One X and HTC One X+ could be viable options.
