Nintendo Revealed That Zelda: Breath Of The Wild WIll Have Two Different Endings

It is ordinary for RPGs to provide alternate endings of its narratives, which enable players to impact the events in a game based on their decisions. For instance, The Witcher 3 is a game that has lots of endings which gives a wide range of variety to the title. On the other hand, some games might quite lack impact such as the endings of Mass Effect 3. Despite the degree of impact, having multiple endings is a great expectation for RPGs.

Currrently, it seems like the upcoming game title Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be featuring an alternate ending, especially since it is pushed into the RPG genre. Well-known producer and manager of The Legend of Zelda series, Eiji Aonuma mentioned that the players of the game may see an exceptional ending of the game, based on the report from Game Rant.

Once a player meets a certain criteria, there will be an alternate ending. There are some ways to follow in order to witness a different ending. The Breath of the Wild will be released on March 3, yet there are no information yet regarding how the alternate ending is going to be. Although there were some fans who were able to determine the backstory of the game, further information about the narrative are still unknown as well as its alternate ending.

Aonuma's statement seems to indicate about the two endings that fans will notice in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, thus there will be a main ending and an alternate ending. Although it is truly impressive that the series is now adopting the divergent story line that can be seen in games such as The Witcher and Fallout, they can expect a story that is similar to the true ending of Batman: Arkham Knight. Once a player will be able to complete all of the side quests and he will also be able to collect all the Riddle Trophies, there will be a true ending that will emerge out of the unlocked normal ending.
