An Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update has become available for the Samsung Galaxy S2 on T-Mobile (SGH-T989) via ROM.
The CM 10.1 M3 ROM is a custom ROM that is a nightly build and after installing it you may get FC errors and other bugs. In order to fix this you will need to reinstall stock firmware or another stable custom ROM. Since this is not an official update, in order to flash the ROM zip and Google Apps zip files you will need custom recovery like ClockworkMod.
Before installing, remember that there's always the chance that the device could become bricked. This only happens if the instructions are not followed properly.
This is only meant for the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 SGH-T989. You can check the model number by going to Settings → About Phone.
