Samsung Galaxy S4: TELUS, Bell, Virgin And Rogers Begin Pre-Orders, Arriving April 27

The wait for the latest Samsung flagship smartphone is nearly over. Come April 27, consumers in Canada will be able to lay their hands on the Galaxy S4.

Several Canadian carriers like TELUS, Bell, Virgin and Rogers have begun taking orders for the Galaxy S4 smartphone beginning Monday April 15. Earlier in April, several Canadian carriers had begun pre-registration and last week, Rogers opened up pre-registration for the much-awaited successor to the Galaxy S3.

Now Samsung Canada has revealed the official arrival date of the Galaxy S4 via its Twitter account.

"The GALAXY S4 begins arriving April 27th. Pre-order it with carriers starting today to have it first," tweeted Samsung Mobile Canada on April 15.

The carriers are offering the Galaxy S4 for CAD 199 on a three-year contract in both black and white color options. This price is for the 16GB variant of the smartphone.

TELUS is offering the Galaxy S4 for $700 outright and claims that picking up the smartphone now will guarantee early access to the phone. Bell is offering the Galaxy S4 for $699.95 outright and Virgin for $699.99.

"Be one of the first to pre-order your Samsung GALAXY S4 and get it up to 1 week before it's available in stores," notes TELUS' website.

TELUS is also luring prospective customers with a six-month subscription from Rdio. TELUS also notes that that "Devices will begin shipping April 26th. Please allow 1-3 business days for delivery." This means that those ordering the smartphone on TELUS will get it first, while others will have to wait a little longer.

If you want to pre-order your Galaxy S4 from Bell, Telus, Virgin or Rogers check out their websites for more details.
