Samsung launched the much-awaited Galaxy S4 recently and now smartphone enthusiasts are eagerly waiting to lay their hands on the device. Samsung did not announce the release date of the Galaxy S4, leaving individual carriers to announce their own release dates and now a leaked Staples document suggests that the handset will debut on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon on different dates.
According to a leaked Staples training sheet, the new 5-inch Android-powered Galaxy S4 is expected to be available starting April 26 on AT&T, May 1 for T-Mobile and May 30 on Verizon.
The pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4 are expected to start Friday, April 16, with the shipping of the handset starting by the end of April. However, none of the carriers has given exact release dates for the smartphone. Even though U.S. carrier Sprint will also offer the handset, there is no mention of the carrier on the leaked Staples document.
"Sprint is excited to bring the benefit of Truly UnlimitedSM 4G LTE data to the U.S. variant of Galaxy S 4 in the second quarter of this year. Our customers will appreciate the ability to use Galaxy S4 to surf the Web, share pictures and videos, and use this smartphone as much as they want without worrying about throttling or overage charges on their monthly bill due to data caps," said a Sprint statement.
So far, AT&T has confirmed it will sell the Galaxy S4 at a price tag of $199.99 on a two-year contract, but no other details are available for other carriers.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is undoubtedly one of the most-wanted Android smartphones. The smartphone packs in top-end features perfect for customers looking for a top-end smartphone.
