Upcoming Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus Gets Tested, Snapdragon 625 In Tow?

The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus, which carries the model number TP-8703F, has appeared in benchmarking website, Geekbench, thereby leaking its supposed specs. It is said to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 processor along with a, now standard, 3GB of RAM.

A Powerful Solidified Tablet

It has an 8-inch full HD panel with 1920 x 1080 pixels display. It weighs 11.6 ounces or 329 grams and measures just 7.97 mm thick, as mentioned on Phone Area. Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus also has a Dolby Atmos, a common feature found on most Lenovo devices. The sound technology delivers excellent flows of dazzling sound.

The 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM offers a powerful performance, which manages to score 935 in the single-core test and 4,667 points in the multi-core test. The said device is also powered by Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Tablet's Other Features

The table is also IP52 certified, which means that it offers dust and water resistance. As noted, when the tablet is tilted at an angle of 15 degrees from the normal position, water causes no harm on the tablet's system.

The Tab 3 8 Plus runs up to nine hours of battery life on a single charge. The 4250 mAh battery brings a major boost to battery life, which manages to score a whopping 101 hours endurance test. It is best for travels for extended enjoyment, as noted on the GSM Arena.

The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus will be offered in 32GB or 64GB internal storage options, both expandable through microSD up to 128GB. For the cameras, it has an 8MP main camera and 5MP front camera, which are great for taking photos and sharing moments. The Lenovio Tab3 8 Plus will be available in two colors, silver and blue that will feature a special translucent finish.

No More MediaTek

Lenovo has decided to drop MediaTek in favor of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 for the processor. It is an octa-core chipset clocked at 2 GHz. It also has Adreno 506 GPU and an X9 LTE modem on board.
