It is a Clark Kent and Lois Lane reunion on "Supergirl" season 2. Teri Hatcher was confirmed to appear in the series' next big arc. Details about her character are hidden under wraps but fans would see her as this season's new villain. There are also speculations of upcoming Arrowverse crossover.
Hatcher previously played the role of Lois Lane in 1990s Superman series, "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," alongside Dean Cain as Clark Kent. Meanwhile, Cain is also playing a recurring role in "Supergirl" season 2 as Jeremiah Danvers, Kara's adoptive father.
"No offense to any of the wonderful actresses who have also played the part, but Teri Hatcher is my all time favorite Lois Lane," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said according to E! Online. "To have her come back to the SuperWorld in a completely different part is an unbelievable gift to me, Greg [Berlanti], and the fans," he added.
Hatcher would be appearing in multiple episodes this winter. The actress also previously played the role of Ella Lane, mother of Erica Durance's Lois Lane in "Smallville." Her other previous shows include "Desperate Housewives" and "Odd Couple."
Meanwhile, Supergirl would partner up with aliens in "Supergirl" season 2 episode 11 titled "The Martian Chronicles." On the official episode synopsis according to Comicbook, a White Martian, Armek, would descend on Earth to take M'gann back to Mars and punish her as a traitor. It is up to Supergirl to keep her safe, however, they will soon realize that Armek shapeshifted to one of them.
There are also speculations of Arrowverse crossover in "Supergirl" season 2 following David Harewood social media post sharing a poster of Supergirl and Martian Manhunter with a caption saying "Worlds Clash. Heroes Unite." Harewood, who plays Martian Hunter in Supergirl previously did a promo video crossover with Arrowverse heroes. He is also appearing in "The Flash Musical."
