The ABC special has been consistent with regards to their ratings for the past year. "Once Upon A Time" was able to prove that their magic still lives on. Sure there were some twist and turns in the set that can’t be avoided but they were able to manage it. For the past 5 seasons, the creator of the massive series showed everybody that fairy tale series are are a thing of beauty. "Once Upon A Time" was able to defy the odds in blending multiple fairy tale characters in creating one series.

The first half of Season 6 created a lot of questions and subplots that direly needed some answers. The season finale of the show has recorded the highest rating for quite some time as per a credible source. The season finale is very emotional at the same time fulfilling. For those who aren’t aware or forgot what had happened, Belle made the ultimate sacrifice when she did the unthinkable in order for her son to live. The first 10 episodes also created havoc and a couple of backstabbing from our favorite characters.

Before "Once Upon A Time" released their last episode last year, there were already a lot of buzz with regards to their current situation. Apparently, there was a beef between the TV network(ABC) and some of the producers of the show. Both of them traded some jabs but was able to work it out. There was a secret meeting held with both parties in which they agreed to put the show on a temporary halt.
'Once Upon A Time' Season 6: Musical Episode, Is It Really Happening?
This is not the first time that fans heard about the possibility of "Once Upon A Time" releasing a musical episode. All of the characters were very excited about the idea but a certain spokesperson from ABC debunked those allegations. Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, co-creators of the show, had expressed their feelings about the special musical episode and to this date, they haven’t had the go signal yet from ABC.
'Once Upon A Time' Season 6: Two Characters In Limbo
Jennifer Morrison, the main protagonist of the show, who plays the character Emma Swan recently commented about her status on the show. She revealed in a podcast that her contract is about to expire in April and haven’t heard anything from Once Upon A Time yet. Also, another major character recently reacted to his current situation. His name is Robert Carlyle who plays the role of Rumplestiltskin and Mr. Gold. His situation is different from Jennifer Morrison. Due to age and family reasons, Robert Carlyle will have to make one of the hardest decision in his life.
