For everyone who's excited for the Samsung Galaxy S8, here's some good news for you. The company might actually acknowledge the S8 phones at the Mobile World Congress. This is after the initial announcement of Samsung saying that the upcoming flagship phone won't be revealed at the said event. Nevertheless, the company may still be true to its words as reports suggest that the Galaxy S8 will only be teased at the MWC conference and it will not yet officially unveil.
Samsung's MWC 2017 Event
Samsung is scheduled for an MWC conference this end of the month. However, since the company has already made it clear that the Galaxy S8 phones won't be launched at the said event, Samsung made sure that it has a different product intended for its audience. It was said that the Galaxy Tab S3 will be the star of Samsung's event. Nevertheless, as per a recent report from Techno Buffalo, fans may also get a glimpse of the Galaxy S8 at the MWC by means of a quick teaser. This rumor came from The Korea Herald and it was said that a one-minute clip will be released to show off the Samsung Galaxy S8.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Schedule
Samsung's MWC conference is scheduled for February 26. However, since only the Tab S3 and a Galaxy S8 teaser are expected on this day, it's pretty certain that the flagship smartphone will get an event of its own. According to recent reports, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be made official this coming March. The phones will then be released to different markets in April. It's worth noting that Samsung usually unveils its Galaxy S smartphones at the MWC conference. However, this year, the new Galaxy S8 phones have to live with a short delay due to some issues that the company had to face last year.
